for me, in a way yes, and in a way no. i feel like i could of lived a lot more, as you're only young once!
but then again, i've always wanted a family, and if i was to die tomorrow i'd rather go knowing i experienced having a child and being a mum, than going out with my friends and getting drunk alot, y'no? x

No there is nothing I regret about having my son young at all!
I wont lie I went off the rails about when I was 12-14 years old, I did alot of my going out drinking then fortunatly at that time the pubs were really bad with realising who was underage and who wasnt. Just before I was 15 I found my husband, and everything changed I just wanted to be with him, and settle down. Ive got a great family to support me & my husband is brilliant!
We have been together 5 years, when I was 17 we started ttc although I didnt fall until I was 18, I had my son 2 months before my 19th birthday, and he is such a blessing! I love spending every second of every day with him! I love being a mummy and would much rather be sat at home with my family than out in some nightclub wasting my money! IMO.
We got married in August & our son is 8 months now, growing up so fast!
Im glad I didnt fall straight away though, I think in those few months ttc it gave me chance to grow up, So im glad i didnt fall pregnant till I was 18, but id never want to of had my son any older, It just seems right for me :)
Althoguh everyones opinions & times are different.
We will be waiting a fair few years for baby number 2, but I still wouldnt change a thing :)

I read older mums are more likly to get PND cos there so used to living one way then it has to change, wereas young mums only no motherhood, if that makes sence, you dont miss what you never had.
My mom was 20 when she had me, and now she has a masters in art and is a teacher.
your life doesnt end having a baby, i wanna be a young mum, then once the kids are out the way, then i can concertrate on a career x xx

I don't regret it at all, I've always said I would like to be a young mum, I was planning on having a baby around 21 year's old but fel pregnant while on the pill when I was 17, I was very immature an in those 9month's I've changed for the better, people can't believe how much I've grown up! I would like to go out once in a while but that never seem's to happen, mummy's need there break's but I never seem to get mine, I would like an other when Bradley is 2 so in about a year as he's nearly 1. It's nearly my 19th an plan to go out for a night an then be a kid for another night an go to a play area like go banana's for an adult's night!! Everyone need's to let loose every so often! But wouldn't change a thing :) xx

I did at first. I was really stuggling with everything, not coping at all and felt like i'd given up too much too soon. I feel awful for even thinking that now. I actually went on a night out a few months after eva was born and was like "is this is?" I wasn't missing anything but my daughter so i went home at 10pm.
I look at FB status's on a saturday morning and i am 100% happy that i am not in that state. I much prefere to snuggle up on the sofa watching peppa pig or running round all day after a happy little toddler.
When she is 18, i'll be 38 and still young enough to go out and party till the early hours.

No. i love my boy and i love being a mummy. i was 21 when he was born and i was in my second year at uni. it did mean i missed a lot of uni that year and had to repeat, but that was because i was ill and had a lot of complications with the pregnancy. but i love the fact that i'm a young mum. and i know my parents love it too. they both said they love that they are young enough to play with josh and spend time with him. i'm still at uni, i'm still getting my degree and i still have friends, granted not all the same ones from before i was pregnant, but still people who love me!i love my life now, and i love my boys. i'd much rather be a mummy and be getting up at stupid o clock in the morning because Josh wants a cuddle than to be throwing up and stumbling in at 4am and not being able to remember the night!
